Branching out into acting with the new SBS sitcom ‘Salamander Expert and the Shadow Operation’, SHINee’s Minho is receiving lots of praises for his acting skills.
‘Salamander Expert’ premiered on the 27th and Minho took on the role of a genius hacker, which he played as though a veteran actor. His line delivery was perfect and the tone of his voice was very engaging.
Minho does have acting experience in single episode dramas, but this is the first time he’s signed up for a serial drama.
As if to prove the critics wrong who worried that he wasn’t ready to take up on an such complex role, he played the character perfectly to the viewers’ delight.
Minho plays the character Minhyuk in the sitcom. Minhyuk suffers from social anxiety disorder, a complete opposite of Minho in real life, but he did a fine job on portraying this complex character. Minho also had no trouble gelling with comedy genre veterans Oh Dal Soo, Lim Won Hee, and Lee Byung Joon, showing his big potential as an actor.
